Truths for BYL
  1. All life is sacred and unique.
  2. All life is interconnected and one.
  3. All life desires to express its Uniqueness.
  4. All human beings have an inherent right to express their Uniqueness;
  5. All human beings are called to express their Uniqueness with wisdom and compassion

These truths held by BYL are self-evident and are espoused in order to create a more loving world in which the uniqueness of all life is honored and the truth of oneness is realized by all people. Being guided by these truths, Be Your Life will serve as a guiding light to people of all ages, races, and ethnic backgrounds to realize their Uniqueness in wisdom and compassion and their shared oneness.

These truths are stated as a reminder of what life is and what we, as the key participates and co-creators of life, are called to be. Life is pure gift and by way of our free will we can choose to receive the gift of life with reverence and respect or not. To receive the gift of life with gratitude we embrace the attribute of humility knowing that all things are impermanent, including ourselves. With gratitude and humility we begin to see that every aspect of life is sacred, unique, interconnected, interdependent and one. Life manifests mysteriously in endless ways and it seems we as human beings are like waves rising from a vast ocean of potentiality, consciousness, or ‘I’ ness. We cannot help but be connected to one another and to all things because we all arise from one source and will return to this source.
